Ask the dispatcher for Event # and record it, and the date and time you called in a permanent log. You may need the Event # later to follow up.
Don’t hesitate to call. Each call is prioritized. Your call will not interfere with emergency dispatches. Each call is logged and becomes part of the analysis that helps the City determine its hiring needs.

Many non-emergency problems can be reported through Get It Done San Diego.
Get It Done is the official app for reporting non-emergency problems to the City of San Diego. You can report issues, such as potholes or graffiti, directly to the City’s work tracking system.

Try to remove the graffiti with a solvent and rag (wear gloves), e.g., Goof-Off Graffiti Remover. If you need to paint it out, try to match the existing color. Use a razor blade scraper for removing stickers on glass, signs, benches, etc.
